Poster competition

All participants whose posters have been accepted by the Program Committee are eligible for the Poster Competition (except the participants of the Hans-Walter-Hennicke Lecture Competition).
 

For a participation in the competition, please note the following guidelines:
 

  • Format of the posters: DIN-A0, vertical (841 mm x 1189 mm)
     

  • Please submit the Short Abstract for your poster in English, with a max. of 1.500 characters and a max. of 6 authors. We only accept online submissions. Please submit your Short Abstract through our congress management system. You have to be registered as a participant for the D-A-CH Ceramic Session.

  • All posters have to be attached to the poster walls by the presenting author himself on May 06, 2019, between 09:00 am and 02:00 pm. After the D-A-CH Ceramic Session, the posters must also be removed by the authors.

  • Poster competion/Part I:
    The lectures on the poster presentations take place on May 06, 2019. Your lecture has to be held in English with a time limit of 2 minutes (structure: title, question, methods, results). The lecture can be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation with a total of 2 slides in English. The slides for your presentation need to be submitted online until April 19, 2019. A delayed submission may suspend you from the competition.

  • Poster compitition/Part II:
    Following to the presentations the posters will be judged by the jury and the conference attendees during the Get-together (Postershow) event on May 6, 2019, at 07:00 pm. This evaluation requires the presence of the poster author.

  • The award ceremony for poster competition will take place on May 07, 2019, starting at 07:00 pm, during the D-A-CH Conference Dinner.

The top three posters will be awarded, and the sponsor has provided the following cash prizes:

1st  prize: 750 EUR
2nd prize: 500 EUR
3rd  prize: 250 EUR
